Handcrafted wall sconces, hand-woven from 100% natural fibres (raffia, palm rope, alfa) or made of metal, with our flower-shaped LULE wall lights in brass and nickel silver. A warmer alternative to rattan or wicker wall lights, for a soft glow in a bedroom, above a headboard, in a hallway or a corridor. Our woven models fit over your existing light point or can be wired with our kit; IRIS and LULE come ready-wired.

Handcrafted woven wall sconces, in natural fibres or metal

Designed by Cosydar, our wall sconces are handmade by our artisans. Our woven models in raffia, palm rope or alfa show slight variations in shape, shade and weave: no two are the same. Our flower-shaped LULE wall lights come in gold brass, silver nickel silver or woven palm rope.

Which light for which room?

  • Tight weave: a soft, intimate light, ideal in a bedroom or as a bedside wall light above a headboard.
  • Open weave: light passes through the fibres and casts patterns of shadow on the wall, perfect in a living room, hallway or corridor.
  • Brise-Lumière and indirect lighting: light diffused towards the wall, soft and enveloping.

Electrified or to be wired?

A badge tells you on each model.

Our sconces suit Mediterranean, seaside, Scandinavian or contemporary interiors. They add texture and depth to the wall, whether lit or not.

Frequently asked questions

Are the sconces delivered electrified?

Only the IRIS and LULE models come electrified. The other models are woven shades: to fit over your light point, or to wire with our wall bracket and electrical kit.

How do I hang a woven sconce?

Each sconce has a built-in hanging rod and a flat back: it simply rests on a wall hook or screw (not supplied) and sits flush against the wall.

Which bulb should I choose?

A warm white (2700 K) E27 LED, 4 to 7 W: it stays cool and gives the fibre a golden glow. The bulb must never touch the fibres.

Can I use it as a bedside wall light?

Yes: placed above a bedside table, a tightly woven sconce gives a soft light for reading and relaxing, while freeing up the table.
